I’m pretty sure there’s a mistake in the ELO spreadsheet. I was looking through the spreadsheet since I was curious about some things, and I noticed an Axis loss of which I should only have 2, and this reported loss is years before my first axis loss to farmboy in 2020.
The thread for this game is likely this one (same reported date as the last comment, 26 Jul 2016) and in it axis-dominion has conceded:

@Adam514 there is the odd error through there. I was intending to help out by slowly going through and double checking but haven’t had much chance to do that as of late. Can go in and fix this one now.

@Adam514 Well, that’s not good.
#1 I plowed through data entry for every game and had to look at several game threads to ensure accuracy. We wanted to get the ELO ratings up ASAP. So there is probably a 10% error rate.
#2 Quality control is set up to have a 2nd player double check each entry and initial them. Most of this hasn’t been completed yet, though we do have a volunteer or two.
I’m surprised, because I was sure I was extra careful with each of our regulars and especially top notch gamers. So Farmboy already fixed it, I see, though I don’t know why the initlals are RT
So in the mean time!
Players are certainly invited to look over the game results and shoot us in the face when they find an error. And then that error will be fixed, by another team member who has not yet sustained a serious head wound.

All entries since last September have been double checked.
Data entered Jan 2019 to Sept 2023 was done by others and there are no initials or second initials. (MrRoboto knows who did those, I think)
I powered through Dec 2018 all the way back to 2012. Farmboy has checked some of that. There is a lot of double checking that still needs to be done.
Sometimes educated guesses have to be made, like if there was a year where you didn’t have to report sides taken or bids.
All that to say, thank you for politely bringing it up, it’s a much needed reminder that there is still a lot of audit work that needs to be done to seek and correct the numerous errors and get closer to 100% accuracy.

@gamerman01 Its going to happen and you were noting the need for a second check from the beginning. I managed to go through a few months but its been a busy year and that has fallen by the wayside.
I did the correction but used my actual initials (RT) instead of my username by mistake.

Just curious.I claimed my game against him a week or two ago due to the same reason. If my opponent ask for a break i will give it to him, no problem, if he is just gone missing I will claim it…
