@thethedew I don’t own the game, but I think the main point of it is that it is not WW2 based. This way the game has appeal to people who aren’t that interested in WW2.
Let us know what you think after you’ve played a couple of games.
@captainwalker the sculpts aren’t that blocky. its a CAD drawing since the actual units haven’t been made yet.
Agreed, those don’t look final. I feel like the box design also isn’t final.
@SuperbattleshipYamato It’s more final than you think.
Intriguing.
I have ordered mine .
Hi @Witt
yea think theres some new rules too. Glad Renegade took it over. Seems as if there actually trying to make A&A better :)
@barnee I am very excited . I have always loved the African campaign.
D10! Just watched the interview and caught that bit - love it!
That innovation alone should turn up the heat a bit for desert sands hehe
I just was thinking the other day how it might be time for A&A to start chasing that D20, since I’m pretty sure BG3 has made them more popular than they’ve ever been. Good call! I’m intrigued to see how it all unfolds

I agree, the D10 change alone is huge. No more dividing by 6 for hit counts!
Huh. I knew that plenty of players use d10 or above, but I never thought the hallowed designers would do such a thing.
I’m not saying it’s bad, but it’s certainly not something I’m used to. What Renegade is doing is definitely cool.
@Nuts I’m proud that they went with a D10 right in the face of releasing their “battle dice” accessory product.
It should go without saying- but it definitely doesn’t- great design should trump a marginal increase in sales. I don’t expect companies to sacrifice significant financial incentives for the sake of minor improvements, but in the world I work in (consumer electronics) it’s often the case that they’re willing to sacrifice significant design improvements for even the potential of a minor financial gain. Good on you, Renegade.
