I edited the battle because I rolled everything here on the forum, but still had to do it somehow in the engine.I preferred the forum roll because of the submarines. It was a 50:50 battle (we had the exact same hp and power) and so casualty choice plays a huge role in the outcome.

The problem is that TripleA asks for casualties after the sub hits. And that is sometimes a disadvantage for the defender.
