I played with the composition of that garrison quite a bit. I wanted you to strafe, wanted to give you a comfortable strafe - but this is great for the Germans.
I am curious, why do you feel Round1 went bad enough to warrant round 2? 4 hits out of an expected five - maybe not what you truly wanted, but not bad?
What I mean is that we both scored 4.
That means I did not gain anything, so that strafing was unsuccessful.

I played Japan very poorly, even before you account for the loss of a third of the fleet. Question is can I hang on long enough for Germany and Italy…probably not, but going to try.
