You are hanging tough. At the risk of sounding too proud, not many hang with me for 13 rounds so this is an accomplishment.
MARTI froze up on me. I can’t save, I can’t X out the window… so I will wait longer
It was going really slow, and it never does that… Very last battle, Russian defense, and it’s froze. And now the dice aren’t listed in order in the e-mails (so sometimes can’t tell how many hits).
I can’t see the map behind the windows, can’t move the windows.
I’ll wait several more minutes, but if all else fails, I will have to look through the e-mails, and reconstruct the turn.
It’s working on my other computer, so I’ll roll the last roll that is the defense of Smolensk.
You will have 2 sets of dice in MARTI, and the first set are the ones that will stand. The 2nd set was just to make it easier to reconstruct the turn.
I am confident this reconstruction is exactly right. You can look through the MARTI e-mails if you want, but you can tell, nearly exactly, that the units moved and the dice results of this map are correct.
Smolensk in MARTI (only done once), last battle, is a double miss for the Russians. You did not have bad luck for the turn, though
It is too bad about slow and freezing MARTI there. If you have any questions or concerns, I can explain. If there is really a problem, there is no other moderator so we could just agree on another league player to give his opinion, but I think if you look at MARTI e-mails you will see that this move is correct.
If you insist, I can re-roll the whole turn but the battles were very high percentage and you got several hits in.
Placement changed a little
I have although problems, sometimes there are versions not compatibel, sometimes I am out of space and cannot open one more game in a new window ( 8 or 10 are max. on my computer ) and sometimes I although have to wait if Marti rolls.
