In the fewest amount of words, I served with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment (11th ACR). The long answer is that I was with the 1916th Support Brigade but its mission was essentially the same: support and train the units in the war games that lasted for two weeks, every month for 11 months out of the year each year. The units that came to train with us were then immediately sent to Iraq or Afghanistan.
