Did they make a different version of the original game?

I seem to recall my uncle owning the original game but the map was bigger than the ones i see now and instead of a tri-fold it was six that folded into a square. Am i getting Mandela effect on this? I remember specifically getting yelled at for folding it incorrectly which wouldn’t happen with a normal tri-fold.

@Manzgame The Revised game from 2004 had a map that folded that way, but it was smaller than both the Classic 1984 map and the current 1942 map.
