Why did you attack Lorraine on turn 27? It was an uphill battle, even with air support.

It was not uphill. It was a dead even TUV after the French lose the air battle. The CP need to accept battle at really anything around dead even TUV or better to have a chance.

That’s odd.

As you can see from the photo, after the air battle in Lorraine I had a clear power advantage.
What am I missing? Thank you!

@SuperbattleshipYamato you’re missing the fact that attacking tanks shrug off hits. Your “power advantage” is 315 (-36) to account for the enemy tanks. 315-36 is… ;)

I’ll say it:
If Germany invades Holland, either that’s a stupid move or you’re losing.
So what did I do wrong? I attacked as little as possible. Thank you!
-
This was the turn where (imo) the mistake was/is most obvious. You pulled units out of Italy and sent them against the Ottomans. The Austrians had a wonderful +20 TUV attack into the vital territory of Venice. Not only were those Italians better off defending Italy (more French troops were needed in Venice as well) but when Italy falls, anything they captured in the Ottoman Empire becomes ‘dead income’. The Entente are down two IPC and they really need every dollar they can get if things go badly or some kind of mistake is made.

Why? It’s free money the Germans basically add at no cost on their way to the front at this point in the game.
