BOOM AND DOOM!
Anyone wanna analyse this game?

I told him about me doing his J1 attack (basically this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRi3aIsj8P8).
After looking through the game, he mentioned how the asterisks in the video referred to how a Soviet 18 infantry stack in Amur is the only way to derail this strategy. Which I didn’t know since he didn’t mention it in the video.
So yeah, he said that he couldn’t see anywhere where I was doing well.

I think that’s what most players do as well. I’m also playing a game where the Soviets did move their army out of Amur and I’m using The Good Captain’s J1 attack (the game uses Low Luck)
Let me know if you would like to take a look at that one too.

I’m in a bit of a pickle here again:

I don’t think the game is lost, but I need to figure out how to deal with the Caroline Islands.

@SuperbattleshipYamato Sorry it took me so long (family in town so I’ve been absent), but here’s an idea if it isn’t too late:
Defensively their navy is pretty formidable, but they don’t have the capacity to definitively place themselves anywhere else without huge risk. My though is to station your from SZ 6 and maybe a few from the DEI in SZ 35 around the Phillipines and to keep your air force in French Indochina with that airbase. That allows them to hit either SZ 6 or 35 if the US does make a move. Keep building navy units and use your kamikaze tokens, and I think you’re in a good position to keep the US out of your major sphere for at least a few turns while the European side does some damage (it looks like the US is going KJF at the moment). Basically just swing your navy to SZ 35 and keep your planes in range of 35 and 6. He can’t make a move without losing that whole navy yet.

Also keep 3 fighters on the Philippines. Forgot to mention that even though it’s probably a no brainer.

Thank you so much! I’m worried for an American attack on the mainland, but it makes sense that they would not attack due to fear of counterattack.
I was waiting for a reply before I played.
Thanks a lot again! I appreciate your advice.

Makes sense.

Might put a couple more just in case the Americans stay put in the Carolines.
-
Moved my southern fleet to French Indo China. It was more easily reachable by all units (the aircraft carrier near Sumatra couldn’t reach sea zone 35), and it allowed me to send all my transports to sea zone 36 to pose a pretty significant threat to India.
Sure hope the kamikazes will make my opponent think twice about moving into sea zone 6.
Wish me luck!

Hi!
This is the same game as the last one:
yamato-v-mike-g40-low-luck-usuk-5.tsvg
Due to a… miscalculation and the underestimation of the use of carriers as cannon fodder, the IJN lost huge.
Is there any way I can rebound? Thank you!
By the way, what are your thoughts on using carriers as cannon fodder?
I always thought that was stupid given their high cost, but the battle has made me rethink that. What is your opinion? Thank you!
