it seems that this lost little battle in Archangel broke the Russians neck , just like the game before in Beloruisa.
This may be the only major “problem” of AA50 - one time bad dice for such small battles and it opens the door for the (final) shot!

Yeah, I think I can throw the towel at this point. I have no way to take Moscow back, and I lost all those UK fighters too :)
What surprised me was that you built a couple of submarines. I was skeptical at first because I thought that would drain strength from the Russian front, but I was wrong. Together with a lot of airpower, it deters all Allied naval skirmish landings on the west coast, which allowed you to fully concentrate on Russia.
Also, I want to credit you for the way you defended Japan. I thought that when Japan doesn’t build naval units turn 1, it’s going to be in a very tough spot if US goes KJF. But you’ve never been really in trouble! You defended against all of my threats and I was slowed down too much.
Furthermore, I think I need to reconsider how to best defend Russia. It seems that flying all those fighters over is still not enough…
Anyway, really enjoyed this game. You are a formidable opponent. I would be happy to offer you a rematch, same rules, switching sides.
Good morning. I agree , Moscow and Russia is lost. I think if the German army can hold the Allies fleet and troops out of Europe, Russia is doomed.

Defending Moscow will be the key for winning the game as Allied. Not sure how to do that, but I am eager to try it in our next game.
