Hi!
So the first question is - can you use destroyers as transports for lightning assaults? It seems like you should be able to, but it’s kind of unclear.

The second scenario: We have a transport attacking one territory and then lightning assaulting to a different territory and are wondering if - on the second attack - we can bring in planes that did not participate in the first battle. And also if a battleship waiting in the harbor of the second attack can bombard for that second assault.

You might want to consider adding this issue to the Revised FAQ/Errata (just using the wording on the AA50 manual would do it). This issue turns up every once in a while on forums.

Wasn’t really talking about Balancing of it, just thinking about how it would look. I’d say EE would be Soviet because as you said, Stalin had annexed the Baltic Republics, and Eastern Poland, both of which lie in EE. Also when Looking at GER its bigger than Germany actually is because it includes the Western half of Poland, and Czech which at this point Hitler had Annexed.

Since then, I’ve written the FAQs for Battle of the Bulge and Anniversary Edition, and helped write the FAQ for Guadalcanal. I was also a playtester for Anniversary, and helped write the rulebook. Recently, I revised the rulebook for A&A 1942.

Those Canadian troops (or troop if it’s just that arm) can still make it out. Just pick them/it up in sz9 instead.

You’re right. Good catch! I didn’t have access to the map when I wrote this. What I should have said was that you can’t load them in sea zone 1. You could move to sea zone 9, if it’s friendly, and pick them up from there. However, this does limit your options for movement to Algeria, the United Kingdom and Panama (and the Eastern US, though you don’t need a transport to go there), and then only in combat movement. If you’re trying to stop a UK counter-attack against an invasion of the United Kingdom, you need to either sink the transport or block sea zone 9.

Under LHTR, your only options for these troops are amphibiously assaulting Panama, Eastern USA, United Kingdom or Algeria. Under the box rules, you would also be allowed to leave the troops on board the transport at sea.

if it were free for all trading may work. you would need countries to have difernt units. like and japanese fighter defending on 5 and russian fighters on a 3. then russia could be like i’ll buy a japaese fighter for m japanfor 10 ipcs. japan would (if it were to trade) buy on figther and put it on a transport or in a bomber. the transport/bomber would have to drop the fghter off somewhere in russia.
