Strategies for Larry Harris 1942?

I played a game of this version a few months ago, one against myself and another against another player on this forum.

In both games the Axis struggled massively. Is the game biased towards the Allies, or am I just a complete idiot?

Let me know if you want to see what I did in those games. I’m sure I can dig them out somewhere.

This is a standard game of Global 1940 with the official 1942 LH setup.
