Mid game Sea Lion failed, largely due to AA fire. Was probably an unnecessary gamble.

Well played! Had some bad dice and UK lost badly at Taranto getting completely wiped without sinking the BB or killing all the scrambled fighters, which put Allies on the backfoot. GeneralDisarray capitalized well and never looked back.

That battle is so major :neutral_face:
I just don’t like pulling to 92 and not attacking 95 or 97. But you want to draw out those fighters and kill them - so badly. It’s worth (with scramble) losing almost everything or even everything with UK (if going at 80% shot or so to draw the scramble), but when you lose bad… yeah, like you said. -

After the 1st or 2nd round, I probably should have retreated and pulled back, but I just kept clicking remain. I think a more experienced player would have salvaged what they could, as by that time, the odds had turned well against the UK in that battle. Saving a fighter and bomber early on may have helped keep Africa.
