I guess I should have gambled on 1 fighter escorting the bomber. But I am positive you would have intercepted in that scenario. I calculate 7 in 27 chance of killing the bomber on the intercept. Which is quite high IMO but if it comes off I could have brought in another British fighter and perhaps 2 if the escort is shot down, which it probably would be.
