@andrewaagamer I thought it might be helpful to clarify our preferences around editing. I think any edits to ncm or placement on the same turn are fine if it is before the post (you can see I did one in my last turn with UK). I’m relaxed about these as well if they are edited after a turn has been posted but before the other player has gone. Here, though I think the other player can always say no. I won’t generally say no to these unless I think they would impact my move, AND I have already started my next turn and have rolled dice, but I also won’t argue if my opponent does say no to them.
I will sometimes allow edits after dice have been rolled and/or a turn has passed, but it needs to be clear that the edit is unrelated to the subsequent move or the dice. My opponents can always ask, but I decide. And of course the reverse here also applies.
And Walk-in combats (where dice aren’t rolled) I generally treat as the same as NCMs, but here I would want to be sure that an adjacent risky battle elsewhere didn’t make the walk-in a viable move.
The key is that apart from edits (to ncm, placement, and sometimes to walk in combats) that occur before the turn is posted, I think it is entirely up to the opponent to decide whether an edit is allowed. Within that framework, I tend to be more generous, but I think it is entirely reasonable for someone to play more strictly. And although I might ask for one, I won’t argue edits, if my opponent says no.

I have a similar perspective. Revised NCM or Placements, including missed walk-ins, I have no issue with as long as there has not been any combat rolls for the following Power. I.E. NCM changes for US before UK combat rolls. I also allow the same for any posted Turns as long as the Opponent has not gone yet. As soon as an Opponent begins their Turn no further edits are allowed.

Here is the “Official Edit Policy” I use when one is discussed.
a) Once a combat roll is made no edits of any kind before the combat roll occurred are allowed with one exception. Forgotten Units. A “Forgotten Unit” is a unit that never moved during that Power’s Turn and that unit unequivocally and without any doubt was just forgotten to be moved and that the requested edited move is obviously the intended move if the unit had not been forgotten. Any doubt, no matter how small, voids this exception. Including any potential gain of knowledge received due to dice rolls.
b) Once Opponent B has posted in any format a portion of their current Turn no edits of Opponent A’s previous Turns are allowed. This includes “Forgotten Units”.
c) Any Edit necessary to fix an illegal move. Such as flying a plane over a Neutral into combat. Not unloading combat ground troops picked up during the Combat Move phase from a transport during an Amphibious Attack. Not placing all possible units during the Mobilize New Units phase.

@andrewaagamer that generally looks fine to me. I do generally allow edits even after another turn has passed but only in specific circumstances where I don’t think the turn in between will have influenced it. The most common example is realizing that one forgot to move a US unit on the pacific side of the game after Italy has gone. But as I said, I defer to my opponent when asking for these things, so if you play things a bit more strictly, we wouldn’t have any issues.
