Here’s what goes into that question :)
- I know the program rolls that battle out automatically (without stopping) because there is no retreating, so I can’t say “well, you clicked through the battle without stopping”.
- You did move a lot of non-bombarding units into zone 42 during the combat movement phase which should technically only be moved in the non-combat phase if you were not attacking the transport.
- The ANZAC transport can’t do much, immediately, if left alone.
- It’s obvious you didn’t intend to attack 2 infantry with 2 infantry with no bombardment support, given the ANZAC transport is not an immediate threat. Also, your infantry are extremely important in that position at Java, and there is an airbase to boot.
I absolutely allow rolling the 2 battleships and putting the ANZAC transport back on. It is excellent and respectful of you to tell me to do whatever, thank you!
Also, I’m happy we’re enjoying the game and that you have many options to think about.

On-line gaming practice is that the dice that have already been rolled should be kept as much as makes sense.
Therefore, your round 1 miss and my round 1 single hit will stand. (You will lose at least 1 infantry)
So I will roll 2 battleships and we go from there.

I will pay attention to my combat moves. You are right, only 2 bs attack. I hope this was the right decision with Java but Wake is only 1 ipc more and I need all ships and NZ is hard to defend.
But biggest problem is your position with the Russians :cold_sweat: -
