    Looks like it doesn’t matter how i flip it, Axis won’t come off good with any way they would make.

    yeah, the allies certainly have an advantage in this one. I understand if you want to surrender, there is no shame in that.

    It seems to me that i can either Hurry or turtle to Moscow with no effect and only benfit from a strong Pacific Stronghold with Japan.
    Japan also looks like the Power who leeds the game to an Axis win most of the time. Also most of the bid goes to the Euro Axis Nations rather than to Japan.

    I am not the strongest axis player either, and I prefer the allies. I am a bit conservative and I think that lends itself more to the allies best strategy, of conservative purchases, building overwhelming forces, waiting for the axis to make a mistake and then committing forces.

    Successful axis players, in my opinion, are very aggressive and engage in battles that are closer to 50/50, as long as they have strategic significance. Does this make sense?

    I have also seen a tendency of a strong axis player to focus both axis europe and pacific forces towards the same goal, either eliminating russia, or using Japan forces (air or navy) or german/ITA air or navy to help to assist each other. Example… sending german bombers to the pacific theatre, or Japan Navy to help against the Uk in egypt/africa.

    Another tactic I have seen a good axis player make a few times is the avoidance in buying IC’s, AB’s or harbors, and spending all of their money on fighting forces. Using transports instead of IC’s and lastly, try to plan the sack of Moscow 4 turns out. Similar to planning chess moves a few turns out, T1 G buys all slow moving land units, T 2 & 3 G buys fast moving land units. T4 G buys all airforce for a T 5 attack. When you start down this path you need to see it through.

    That’s all the advice I have, as I have said I prefer playing the allies, being overly aggressive is hard for me it seems. Anyways, thanks for the good games. I have enjoyed them and good luck with your future games!
