    Although the average outcome for winning was 1 inf and a fighter (and taking back Yunnan), Chinese were just trying to wipe out the Japanese inf and art. Figured 4 inf was overkill and a waste. Did not count on Marti hostility to common sense.

    If I understand the rule correctly, the Soviet sub in SZ 116 requires the German ships, including the TTs, to remain in the SZ and fight or move to another SZ. So, the TTs could not load troop during either the CM or the NCM afterward. Moreover, having been in combat, the TTs could not move during the NCM. As moving to SZ 117 would involve creating a contested SZ, the TTs can load there either during the CM or NCM. During the CM, the TTs could move to SZ 11 but then could not reach SZ 118 during the NCM. Is this your understanding? If not, I need to reconsider the subs NCM.

    It is my understanding that a surface warship will stop ships from loading troops and that hostilities must take place. A sub can be ignored if desired….maybe my understanding is wrong?

    Clearly, if the Germans attack the Soviet sub in SZ116 while the TTs are there, the TTs cannot move during the NCM. If there is no attack on the sub you may be right about escorting the TT elsewhere during the NCM for pick up and drop off. So, put the sub back in SZ 116.
