I do apologize for the confusion. This is what has happened:

Pacifier was right to ask about dawg and ABH standing alone, and had an idea to bring them in. What I’ve done in the past is just have them playoff against each other and winner is champion of the (tiny) bracket. Never heard any complaints.

Pacifier agreed to play dawg at the same time as Pacifier’s first round contest. If Dawg beats Pacifier and Pacifier wins his first round, then Dawg takes his place and Pacifier is out.

I was looking for another volunteer to play ABH in the same way as Pacifier. I don’t think we have one yet, unless I forgot in the confusion.

TinCanoftheSea has been away for months, I think, and heard about the playoffs and is interested but made it clear he can take it or leave it, would fill a spot if we needed it.
Now I’m mostly hearing from OOB playoff signups that whatever, give me some meat and I’ll kill it.
I would like to re-draw the bracket so TinCan is #2. Then we would need someone to volunteer to play Martin in the same way as #2 above (and also ABH).
I asked if anyone had dived into their game yet and all I’ve heard so far is Myygames and Martin finished bidding but they don’t care if that’s scrapped.
I would have just left the brackets the way they were if Pacifier hadn’t made his argument, but this way is good too.

And #2 TinCan is in, which is good.
Now if we just had one more OOB player, we’d have a 2nd bracket of 4. We could still do a 2nd bracket of 4 if we give the #1 a bye. For now I’ll leave it the way it is.ABH, Dawg, Martin, would you rather have this chance to play in to the main bracket, or would you rather have your own bracket of 3 players, 2 rounds?

OK. OOB bracket re-drawn, everyone has a different opponent because TinCan is in. We need 3 different players to agree to play Martin, ABH and Dawg at the same time as their first round, or else Martin, ABH and Dawg should have their own 2 round bracket. Dawg already has Pacifier.

Since I’m not in the OOB tournament, its moot to me, but I’ll second pacifiersboard since that is probably the simplest way forward. Tincan was late to the party so he has to play an extra game to defend his right to be there. And badger and pacifier have already volunteered so they are the other 2.
The other way is just that the 6th,7th, and 8th ranked players have to play against the 11th, 10th, and 9th ranked players in order to get in the first round. That would add effectively another round and give mygames, tincan, and andrew a bye. But that might delay things too much for mygames, tincan, and Andrew since things wouldn’t start for them for a couple of months.
If no one else volunteers, @TinCanoftheSea will have to do the job ^^

There are 3 players added in. 2 are at the bottom of the bracket. The 3rd is dawgoneit with Pacifier’s Board. That is an odd number, so it looks a little odd.
Pacifier’s Board is to play dawgoneit and elche at the same time.
If elche wins over Pacifier, elche advances.
Pacifier’s Board has to beat both elche and dawgoneit to advance.
Dawgoneit has to beat Pacifier’s Board, and Pacifier’s Board has to beat elche for Dawgoneit to advance. -
You are playing TinCanoftheSea and he is playing flying badger at the same time. (He agreed to this)
If you beat TinCan and TinCan beats badger, then you advance to the 2nd round. Otherwise you are eliminated.
We thought this was better than having a separate bracket of just 2-3 players. And you don’t have to face the #1 in the first round because of this.
