Strategic bombing raids and heavy bombers

Just to clarify, if heavy bombers do a strategic bombing raid and fighters intercept it, do the bombers roll two dice in the air combat part of the raid? Thank you!

Interesting Question.I never play with tech,but reading the rules as printed,I would have to say Yes.
pg 41"When attacking,whether in a battle or a strategic bombing raid,roll 2 dice for each bomber and select the best result"
Pg 17 bombers and escorts are referred to as “attackers” in an air battle that precedes a strategic bombing raid.
What I learned here is heavy bombers defend the same as regular bombers.This may get clarified by Krieg or Panther.

Its 1 dice for each plane on dog fighting or escort intercepting. I’m sure it will be confirmed shortly.
