@Witt or he keeps the tradition of the 1914 Christmas truce
NML 1914 - Team Game 6
-
@colt45554 I , too, just watched it . Was okay, but the original 1930 version is still my favourite.
-
@witt Nobody here has seen that, except for you, old dog!
-
@Private-Panic I was browsing through your best postings and saw your post on Battle of Britain in-person A&A tournament from March 2019 and the group photo. Would be nice to put faces to all your names and names to the faces in the photo.
-
@fmerwinrommel you will Onky know Adam amd me . I am the good looking one and Adam is , well, you guessed it , not .
I took the photo, I think , but wasn’t aware that Adam had posted it on this forum. -
Not moved F Eng Ch or Med fleets. May edit in non-coms when GB & Italy decide where they want those fleets.
-
@redrum Fr/UK fleets hold in Eng Cha.
-
Leaving AH navy for Turkey to move as long as Italy is ok with that.
-
@Elrood Please move the French med fleet to wherever Italy would like it to be
-
Heavy Russian guns are the best. The small extra cost over FG can sometimes lead to great outcomes like in Odessa, where A had 97% odds. Now if 16 French HG can save Paris from the Hun, all the better.
-
-
@redrum Damn, that felt good. Being cornered really frees up your mind and you can go for unexpected moves!
-
@elrood shut up! You were lucky and never attack at 50% normally.
-
@witt I would not call it lucky. Let us say I was not unlucky. And that is good enough, :-)
Retreating was barely possible, or would have put me in a much worse position after that turn. Throwing a coin up and hope for the best seemed the least bad choice to make.

@Colt45554 ita_arab_hailmary_small_edit.tsvg
was so drunken of that unsuspected turn of events that I did not pick up a units from sardina in NC but from Rome instead. Rommel pointed it out to me.
Hope that Edit is fine with you?
-
@Elrood The Sardinian is lonely having to eat Sardines by himself. Edit Italy NCM to convoy only 1 infantry from Rome and take 1 from Sardinia. The other infantry can walk to Latium with his companians
-
@elrood Dice definitely not in your favor in Milan. Round 1 favored Austria, but he rolled poorly in round 2 Round 3 you rolled terrible and he rolled great. Your luck reversed in round 4, but later rounds were mixed.
Like you said, no good alternative to stubbornly fighting on. -
@elrood Your Arabs outgunned the Turks, again.
Now that you’re down to your last Bedouin, it’s time to disclose your secret weapon.
“May the fleas from a thousand camels infest your armpits.” That’s right, trained fleas were the secret weapon, trained to detect Turkish sweat.
To show how forward thinking we are, we used both male and female fleas. But, of course, they served in separate battalions. -

@Witt I forgot to attack neutral Baja Sonora before I finished combat. So I PBEM a new game just for that battle. I am editing the results in the first game.
