@mike64 I had edited that tank out of Denmark on Japan’s turn, but it’s back in Denmark. When I do Germany I’m going to edit back to W Germany.

@crockett36 did you take USA/Russia’s turns? I thought I saw some dice get rolled - a battle in Novosibirsk.

@crockett36 I retreated the surviving USA sub to the west coast - he can go to any adjacent SZ of course. Feel free to edit him in if you didn’t want him to go to west coast SZ

you will have to pay for that kind of luck eventually.

hey the engine rolled the dice in china, but no casualties came off. I rolled again, selected casualties, j soldier came off. you didn’t get a hit and yet it demanded casualties. So I edited back everything. If you want to do the turn on your computer, use the roll function in the edit menu. I don’t care. Not sure if that’s a bug or what. I just wanted to kill the troop, but ended up taking the territory.
-
-
@crockett36 I’ve never heard/seen the problem as you described it. But according to the history, you were in EDIT mode for most of your turn including the combat phase. It probably had something to do with that? Anyway, we will keep an eye on it.
As for “just wanting to kill the troop but ending up taking the territory,” I might be misunderstanding you but if you take a ground unit into China and the defender misses (as in this case), the territory is yours.
The dice that came through on my end saw the Russians inflict a hit on the Japanese and the Japanese fail to hit on the return fire. Then there was a second round of combat where the result was the same so - everything looks right on this end.

@crockett36 can you noncombat subs into hostile sea zones? If you can I wanted to move a sub off west coast? Can you build in hostile sea zones?

the default is “no” however in selecting which optional rules we were/were not going to use, you said, “Placing naval units: yes.”
So with that optional rule in play this game - you can certainly place new naval builds into hostile SZ
-
@crockett36 you cannot noncombat subs into hostile SZ - that’s axis and allies post Y2K versions
-
would a sub prevent bombardments?
