  • @the_good_captain I accept the RR but am going to have to sleep on G5. Do you want me to neutral-out the RR territories or do you want to do it?

    Side-Note: Can you give me a refresher on how Karelia is handled, as it’s currently:
    -AH Controlled
    -Contested by Russia
    -UK Units are present.

    My guess it that it gets the obligatory 1 R INF to “represent Russian Interest”, but UK Units and all-but-one CP INF have one turn to leave? Or is it just a normal contested territory because technically AH currently “owns” the territory (although its status is contested).

    My understanding of the rules in the order you wrote them:

    -I feel strongly that there is no “control” in a contested zone. In point of fact, the mines reverted back to “Russian” mines at the conclusion of the previous Russian turn once it became contested (even though it started as an “Austrian” territory). This is how the French/British were able to slip the minefield.

    -Agree. It’s an originally controlled Russian territory that is currently contested (for purposes of determining RR).

    -Right so in accordance with the RR rules, CP must have at least one infantry in the territory (but can have as many as it likes) and the territory produces no income for the duration of the game. We can leave a R infantry in there but I don’t much see the point? The British must get back on the transport on their next turn or be eliminated for failure to do so.

    I will adjust the map and repost - just be sure to check it before you roll on.



  • @the_good_captain Yeah this map looks about right. Do you mind if we also flip Russia’s territory from “Russia-owned” to “Contested-owned”? That’s what we did in previous games and it helps me more accurately track the Income/TUV values across the board. I am going to make the changes on my end when I upload Germany’s turn later today, but feel free to switch it back if it’s an issue.
