am i right in assuming if there is nothing but your planes and my subs left that my transports would die right? i am still getting used to the rules in this version -
It’s tricky and the tr’s carry a lot of value.
If there’s nothing defending the tr’s, they die automatically.
One thing to consider is that ANZAC have a follow-up attack. I think though that keeping the carrier intact still gives you the best chance for survival. The air won’t be able to land, so when the ac is soaked, they die automatically even after a retreat.

If there are only subs left on the defense and I still have air that is attacking, yes, then the subs survive, but all tr’s get sunk.

Did some battle rounds on the principle. This last one might be tricky. 4 hits and the question is whether to take a des or fig as casualty. There is an aussie sub waiting in the backwaters.
Think you have to choose this. It’s just to delicate to assume.

That’s what it looks like. I didn’t get an option (or atleast didn’t see any) to take my sub as casualty after Japan’s subs got one hit. That’s why I had to restart the battle and edit.
The battle outcome should be correct. I’ve checked it several times, but will check again, just to be sure.

When looking at it I found a discrepancy. Think 3A got some kind of bug regarding subs.
