• Then you know what.  You want to give another AA player a chance to buy it.  Then sell it at a minimal profit.  Like 20 or 30 dollars more.  Then that is giving the chance.  Not at the tune of 200 or 300 dollars more.  That is wrong.  No one should have to pay that much for a board game period.  And if you do you are only in it for the money.  Not for being the gracious one to give another player the chance to get it.  And that is fact.

  • Be careful, this thread is getting near of being politics. I agree with you, mirage, but the reasons are too politic to be told in this forum (per rules I mean)

You know, economics and politics are in fact almost the same issue

  • I didn’t know about that.  But everyone perceives everything differently.  Just for the record I am publicly stating that this not a political stance.  Just a point of view.  And not to be construed otherwise.  People should be able to express their views(civilly, which i feel I have done).

  • Agreed, but they did that rule because of the big mess it happened when last presidential campaign in US. It was a lot of partisanism here and people start to get incivilized

So the mods decided stick to no politics, just to prevent

Just to the record, I gave you a +1 karma

  • Thanks for the karma. how do you give out karma? :?

  • After making 100 posts, you can do

  • Buy as many copies as you can afford

  • thats never a bad decision

  • Tell that to all those people who bought houses and are now upside down

  • That does not have anything to do with the topic?

  • lol buying board game? or buying a house? nope not much in common

  • More products in circulation are my goal and that is what is moral for me.

I knew an engineer with a simple product that he patented.  His research showed that he could produce slightly more than the pre-order amount and not be left with a lot of inventory.

More pre-orders usually mean more products in circulation.  Also, a few high priced sales usually increase supply for future products. It would not surprise me that the production amount of AA Pacific 1940 was substantially influenced by the e bay craze of AA50.

If no one pre-ordered then how much do you think would be produced? and how would future game developments be impacted?

  • @miragehunter:

That does not have anything to do with the topic?
