All this hatred is boiling up the ancients, and dusting us off!
Better get solved with honor.
Don’t make us come back!
-
All is calm, you just popped in when someone went missing for a couple of weeks and the opponent wondered if it was OK to claim victory, and then the someone came back and wants to finish his game.
Come back at your own peril!?
-
@gargantua Maybe it’s all been a trick to get you guys to come back.
This all feels a bit surreal to me and I feel like I’m missing something. I don’t want to come off as a douche (my daughters favorite expression, not necc. about me) but… Trulpen said he has cancer and that it’s not going well.
I don’t have an opinion about the playoffs but I’d like to say that I’ve played Trulpen a few times, they were fast-paced and enjoyable games (except for the ass-kicking parts) and I’m very sorry to hear about his condition.

@karl7 hey karl

what’s up?

@karl7 long time no see :>

Hear the rumbling of titans coming awake…

Why not?
I have noticed that the league has lost a number of top players. Every league champion except Gamerman01 is not around any more. Sad.
Anyway, back to the point of my reply. I remember you saying that one of the most glaring problems with the game is the disincentive to liberate Paris. Got to agree with you on this point. So why don’t we just set the original owner of Normandy and/or Southern France to be Neutral_Allies or Neutral_Axis? Allows liberation of Paris without losing the ability of USA to mobilise units there (assuming they ever had it). No one would voluntarily give up this ability except in unusual circumstances so it could be edited in.
Think I have posted that before but thought I would bring it up again.

The ancients! I like it.

BM4, bid 21
-
There is a BM4?
-
@karl7 It’s the unofficial name for Bombers cost 14 (and something else…?)

And bring back the friggin ability to post on the forums.
How much $ do Karl7 and I have to throw at this problem to solve it?
-
Yeah, no being able to post on the forum is a real deterrent to getting back into it.
-
For historical accuracy, recommend initially keeping N-B and S. France French. After France falls and the Allies retake N-B and/or S. France (whether previously captured by an Axis power or not), the conquering Allied power takes control. Moreover, if France is retaken by an Ally power and then taken back by the Germans, N-B and S. France automatically switch to Ally control if not occupied by an Axis power.

There is a way to manually post the summary but it is not as sweet as just hitting the post button.

Of course. Just make it work like the Chinese coastal territories which start owned by Japan but with China as the original owner.

@gargantua pay me 500 and I will make the problem disappear. I am not saying which problem will disappear, but something will be gone after this.

In fact, I have already done so. It just hasn’t been advertised yet. I dubbed it the Parisian Rebalance. https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/39268/global-1940-parisian-rebalance/1
Also allows for Canada to fight on in a sea lion game and stops Normandy and SF from being left French the whole game.
