you can take them and increase your ipc total but you cant take their ipcs on hand because of no capital

oh you send in a force to weaken it, then another army to hold and take further stuffs. Thats not neccesarrily a bad thing. I do that in almost every game. with on ally or axis power. there are just SO many major powers that you absolutely have to win and work together or lose seperatly.

Yea most typical in AA50"41" would be for Italy to take Ukraine (maybe amphib). This would allow German tanks on Bulgaria or E.Poland to blitz into Caucaus. The only power that goes between is US and they normally wouldn’t have troops in the area to stop it unless its later in the game.

Right, and that makes russia stack moscow and not go offensive for fear of 12 tanks stealing there capital.

Not necessarilly confuse me per se, but to counter it. There IS NO effective counter to it. I use can opener strategies all the time, typically with America as the fall guy, they have the IPC and its not like you can take AND hold their capitol. I typically spam bombers with America bomb france then hold it with Britian repeat ad nauseum. Or until the Germans are defeated. There is NO counter for it. not one that permanently works anyway.

Without seeing the specifics of each game I cannot comment. Each game presents its own strategies and counter-strategies.

But there is no counter to the I/G can opener I smash moscow so you have to keep most of your units on it while I laugh at you tactic. Not in aa50 '41 that is.

Without bad dices and playing with NOs, it should be near to 100% (but not only due can opener)

Back on topic in AA50 China can can opener for US. Of course China would have to still be alive and the US would need tanks in Asia.
