All Soviet/Japan Strategy

I have recently come up with a strategy of Britain and Soviets attacking Germany and USA attacking Japan (and maybe buying a bomber each turn for bombing Germany)
meanwhile the Japanese push into china and northern Russia then holding their position, while also attacking the USA Fleet. the germans spend all their money on attacking Russia and bombing their facilities and maybe defending their west coast if threatened.

In theory this should work, just wondering if anyone has tried this Strategy and wether it works

I have seen this tried. Basically, having the US stall/distract Japan while UK and Russia knockout Italy and Germany. It sometimes works. I think overall it is less likely to end up with an Allied victory than an all out KGF strategy.
