The German Army did not retreat on the Eastern Front - it was merely a Re-group Movement - to shorten the frontlines.
The German plan for the Late 1943 Summer Offensive on the Eastern Front will bring the initiative back to the Germans.
All Waffen-SS Armies are fully equipped, 1st and 2nd Panzer Armies are operating at full strength - and 3 German Army Groups are intact and ready to fight some of the most decisive battles of World War II.
The plan is to trap the Soviet Armies should they advance on the Eastern Front - and simply wear them out by continuous attacks from multiple directions.
Remember that the German War Economy at this time of the War is extremely powerful, compared to that of the Soviet Union.

Definitely, as your “regrouping” was a withdrawal of units from lands hard gained from Case Blue last year. Totally not a retreat.

Yes - Paratrooper units are colored with a blue base - this is the same blue base for all Nations.
We use Humbrol Paint Colors. A Conversion Table is available at Humbrol to find identical colors from other producers like Revell, Tamiya, Vallejo etc.
All types of Infantry units are color coded with the base in the same color:

I think those are Air Transports in Greece. Yes they do look nice :)
Germany has all of its 3 Army Groups facing strong Soviet forces.
A Soviet breakthrough on the Central Eastern Front could be imminent.
The German Army must reorganize its forces the entire Eastern Front - and hold out long enough for reinforcements to reach the frontlines.
Soon - United States and United Kingdom will most likely launch an invasion on a massive scale in the Western Europe sphere.
Since all German Armies are engaged in fierce combat on the Eastern Front, a German counter attack in Western Europe depends on the support from the Luftwaffe.
