Where is the WWI Map link?
-
-
I have seen that map before. It looks great. How much for a mounted one?
-

I thought that you sold gameboards on your website.
-
I don’t sell this even though i created it. I did it for people who want a WW1 game but could not make a decent one themselves. Pro bono work for AA community. Thats all.
It’s a complete game all you need to do is buy pieces. And they make them

No wonder your karma is so high. I hope that life treats you well.

Where do I get the pieces, which pieces do I need, how many do I need with and without the use of chips?
-
give me a few on this. It will take time to get this info.
-
Well first issue, USA dont need nation specific pieces, since they joined the war only a few weeks befor it ended, and they even used British looking uniforms and helmets.
You are thinking of making a world war I game without USA included? That’s insane.
US declared war on 6 April 1917, and sent 4 million men into combat suffering 205,690 casualties before winning the war on 11 November, 1918
That’s 19 months at war. You should probably revisit your history books there kid.

I am going to print out IL’s WW1 map and start to accumulate pieces for the game.
Knowing where to get them would be helpful!
Thanks! -
As far as developing a WWI game, Ithink I would like to try IL’s game first and see if it needs tweeking.
I am sure its a great game but it may be a little advanced for most AA players. -
make sure to try the deck of cards and get all the player aids including the Generals. I can promise you this game is the best of the best!
-
How do I get good quality cards printed’
-

Okay I just checked your website again and I see that at least at one time you sold your gameboards.
What is the tile system? I want to play my games on a quality board that lays flat on the table and is sturdy. -
Email me about that stuff.

I would just like a super simplified version you could work through in an evening with a noob. I would happily include IL’s version in my rotation for a weekend game. Plus, I was looking to do the game cheap. Reuse as many pieces as possible from A&A and get the rest in plastic. I will work more on this and share what I come up with.

Make sure when you play Germany to Gas the french real good. You got a few turns before they can gas you and you get gas masks sooner.
Man i love sending in gas canisters against the allies.
Turn 1 is a good turn to launch the German fleet, use your zeppelins and always take the Schlieffen Plan option.
Try to kill one front then the other. If you try both you may fail. You can also just grab some french and go after Russia. Latter in the game Russia will fall by itself, but to remove it early is huge.
Don’t let the Ottomans get too weak. If they go you lose the whole front because they cut the board in half.
