Global 1943 Expansion, Revised

@the-captain right on. So Celebes doesn’t get hardwired at 4, it’ll act the same as Philippines and the others ?
-
Yea - that seems like the best solution :+1:
-
@the-captain Are there more territories that have a changed IPC value? I know Siredblood has a map where Ukraine is worth +1 as well, but Soviet Far East is worth -1. I had a lot of trouble because every time I thought I found the map I was looking for, it was a bit different from OOB. I would love to buy such a gorgeous looking map, but nobody doesn’t respond and I don’t even know the map I am looking for exists.

What version of map you looking for ?
Version 1 has Celebes worth 4. Version 2 has Celebes worth 3. Version 3 has Celebes worth 3.
Version 4 has Celebes worth 2. -
Celebes worth 4 IPC is the only change compared to the OOB 2E map.
-
Just saying Sumatra, Java, Borneo and Celebes all changed in Ver. 4.
OK Later. SS Gen out ( General 6 stars).
-
Congratulations on your promotion!
-
The Global 1943 House Rules Expansion 1.1 includes a few clarifications and corrections.
Also, a correction in the United Kingdom IPC Level have been adjusted with 1 IPC.
-
Is ANZAC/UK not allowed to spend any of it’s 15 bucks on Sumatra ? For a Fortificaion ? India took it originally I assume ? Makes it part of Indias 20 dollar purse ?
India can’t spend it’s 20 to fortify New Guinea ? That how you guys do it ?
-
UK can spend a maximum of 35 IPC in the Pacific Theatre.
The Industrial Complex in India can produce units worth maximum of 20 IPC, and the Industrial Complex in New South Wales similar with a maximum of 15 IPC.
Fortification of islands and demolition of facilities can be split between those two Industrial Complexes.
Example:
India produces 5 Infantry units and 1 Tank unit = 20 IPC.Sumatra is fortified with 5 Fortifications - those 5 IPC must count towards the maximum spendings from the New South Wales Industrial Complex.
-
@the-captain right on so Fortifications can be bought with either purse. Can only place maximum at each Factory. Cool
Yea, looks as if we might get some Guadalcanal action. They’ve got their hackles raised anyway. Well New Guinea actually : )

I’ll correct the IPC markers in the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion rulebook, so there is a “4” IPC marker for Celebes also.
So Celebes should get the extra buck in EXP 40 as well ? Not just 43 ?
-
True - Celebes is worth 4 IPC.
I’ll correct it in the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion rulebook:+1:
-
@the-captain right on I couldn’t remember. It’s still triggering the extra buck but the extra Green 4 PU thingy not showing up so I’ll add it next update.
I think the start numbers should be good, just need that extra buck to kick in when conquered.
-
@barnee
Great,I’ll prepare an extra 4 IPC Value Marker in the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Expansion rulebook
-
The Combat Engineer unit has finally been play tested with Global 1943 in 10 games.
The Combat Engineer unit will have a few adjustments - these will be part of the Rules Clarification, which is coming up asap.
-
Interesting!
-
The rulebook has seen a few updates 4th April 2022.
The Winning Conditions will be clarified, but remain the same.
-
@the-captain Is there a list of the changes somewhere ? I can’t find anything. Is 1.1 latest rules version then ?
-
There is no list… changes are mostly cosmetic.
I’ll let you know when I make clarifications:+1:
