If you read the top of page 11 you will see there is a new rule for V3 where you cannot combat move through a canal as you proposed. The example they give is exactly what you were talking about. You can still choose to do it the old way but either way that is one of the things you should have all of the players to agree to before the game begins. We always play it the new way.

i love V3 i bought many pieces for it and me and my friends are trying to get deep into the game. I made some posts in this forum. Im happy that V 4 is coming this year. Do you know what things will change?

@alphaaeffchen Right now. All we know is that some of the rules have been reworded or reworked. I really hope they made the rules more objective, tired of this subjective crap they did and that the map layout is changed with China being the most changed area of the map.

@caesar-seriona there are also map changed in both land and sea zones and V4 will be coming out this year but not until Ayer the springtime
