hmmm. Usually not one to complain too much about the dice, but 72% to win that one in Finland and left the back door open which kills me there considering you can get US FTRs in to secure it. That combined with horrible first round dice seals it for me. Since this was a friendly, I’ll resign now. I could play again for league game if you’re ok to start again with same sides / bid?
I agree that is probably too hard to come back from. I kind of thought that while you could attack Finland, it would cost a lot of troops and USA could take advantage. And besides, I had little better to do with those troops.
Have a couple of feedback points if you are interested. You forgot to put a German plane on Rome G1, Italy paid a price for this one. Now I am not sure if your G4 NCM was what you would have done if you hadn’t conceded but I don’t understand why the German blocking cruiser was in SZ110 when SZ104 would have stopped me from landing on Normandy. You haven’t left enough in range of Normandy to counter attack a landing there. I don’t completely get the sacrifice of the 2TTs in SZ127. You could have attacked from SZ115 and got a bombard. Could also have moved in 7mec 7arm to Leningrad which would have been difficult to counter attack (unless I had surviving tanks in Finland I suppose). I don’t like the G1 buy of CV+DD+sub. Why not CV+TT+inf+art? If you want a CV, that is.
Perhaps that’s enough.
Regarding a new game, I am thinking about finishing all my current games. Will let you know if I decide to start some more.
