MY buddy and I tried out landmines on Monday. We made them 5 IPC, covered one border, and basically acted the same way AA guns do, but for land unites. If territory was captured mines are destroyed. Found out these make USSR a bit to powerful, however they did come in handy for Italy as well.

same as divebombers except operation on sea.

Attack at 2 or less but attack at 3 in the first round of combat against carrier,heavy & light cruiser and battleship.
Cost = 8
Move = 5
defend at 1. -
Can carry torpedos or bombs, can cahange between them but must take a turn on the carrier. Also need a turn to re-arm with torpedos, but can target individual ships with them. Simple.

we have to use larrys rules on this. This is the most acceptable way of addressing this. Check the AAE40 fact sheet on how he did it.

But 11, too expensive!!!
The torpedoes bomber was not good in defence so 3, too much.On land matched with tank?

That’s the dive bomber job isn’t???yes but both carry one bomb. the name torpedo plane is too specific. One unit that deals with both aspects of land/sea warfare is all that is needed.

Dive bomber is stronger than a torpedo bomber.
I think there’s enough spaces on a game board for both units. -

enough space, but not enough money from WOTC to develop both.
