@koba2 Also looking at the map, I think you’ve won already, and you probably knew that. I don’t think I can really push on many fronts, if im out of momentum by turn 5 and you have that many more units… Any tips for me from this game? I need to be more efficient, certainly more patient, im used to being more greedy and clearly have to build more factories and slow down.

@koba2 Yeah… after the last couple of turns I was pretty sure the allies would eventually win. There were some things you did that made it more difficult for the axis. I’ll try to break it down to each country…
Germany was doing well but you left the Finns navy unprotected R1. Germany can either reinforce w/subs or block the UK w/subs to save that fleet…those ships need to make it to the Baltic. -
Italy started out doing exceptionally well gaining control of the med and Syria R2. But supply issues caused their offensive to stall… a factory in Greece would help some of that problem as would a steady stream of units from Rome.

Japan was doing ok but Hisaichi should have taken out the Dutch navy in 110 R1. Failure to eliminate those ships can and did result in the elimination of the Thai navy.
Japan should also focus on taking the Dutch capital in the early rounds…they need that factory and the income .
Japan did have a strong navy in this game but the game is won by controlling land territories and as they gave up ground their income would decrease resulting in less money to build ships. -

@captainwalker ill play axis again, try to tighten things up a little bit. Thanks for the breakdown, im having a hard time trying to figure out proper movement for japan first two rounds. Does the game lend itself to wild strategies going all in somewhere else, or is that essentially death in most cases?
