What to do when you have a big battle? I attacked your troops in Belorussia, but I just chose the casualties from the cheapest to the most expensive. Now it didn’t matter as I killed you with 2 British fighters and a British tank left, and I have only 1 plane and a bomber left. But should you, after each round message the other player which casualties he wants to take? Because I didn’t really think about it.

@victoryfirst Oh, and now I think about it, can you edit the two German tanks I placed in Karelia to Berlin before you do the Russian turn? I prefer to have them placed there.
Go ahead and EDIT your fighter up to within three spaces of the battle in Belorussia (only if you like - if you wanted the fighter in Baltic States then ignore this comment)
There is a small programming error in that when attacking fighters are selected as casualties, the attacker does not get to select between fighters with different movement factors. Oddly, TripleA forces the destruction of fighters with the MOST movement remaining first.
I’ll of course make the tank edits for you as well if you like, I just don’t want you getting short changed as regards the fighter (EDIT the bomber position too if you like) with regards to movement.
as regards the battle casualty selection: the most sure way of doing casualty selection is for the attacker to roll his dice and then send an email to the defender with the results of his first round (the defender will have gotten the dice email). Declare how many hits you made and ask for the defenders “order of loss”.
In this situation, you did it right. The only interesting thing would have been to ask to who I wanted to die first, Russian or British. I will survive a Russian tank and make the EDIT after hearing back from you about your final decision on non-combat moves and purchase placements.
In naval battles with multiple unit types on one or both sides or any land battle in which there is a defending bomber, its generally a good idea not to guess what your opponent would do and just wait for his response (in this case youll have to leave the game open and wait).
@the_good_captain Oh, I never knew that! I hope they fix that issue in the future. But it didn’t really matter actually. For strategic purposes I prefer that fighter to be in Eastern Poland, (it isn’t in Baltic States actually) and the bomber too.
@victoryfirst I am posting this message prior to rolling the next round of combat in Persia. I am down to two pieces and accidentally selected two fighters to survive.
I would like it to be 1 fighter and 1 tank attacking your remaining tank so I am declaring this now before rolling the dice. (It will say two fighters but really it is one tank and one fighter).
