It depends on what “work” means – in other words, on whether players would consider a Kursk scenario appealing. Conceptually, Kursk would be similar to A&A D-Day (minus the water) in the sense that the battle was fundamentally a frontal assault on a heavily-defended static position, and similar to A&A Battle of the Bulge in the sense that it would involve ground forces driving into enemy lines, but different from both games in the sense that from the German point of view Kursk was a pincer movement aimed at pinching off a salient, and that from the Russian point of view it was a two-stage offensive-defensive battle. Personally I think it has good potential to make an interesting game, if it’s designed properly.

@general-5-stars What good are “Bunkers” they take one hit and don’t move or attack or defend . Shouldn’t you just buy infantry instead?
-
@imperious-leader
We were going off the idea that bunkers are cheaper than inf and damage is automatically repaired at the end of turn if the attack fails. -
@ghr2 This unit sucks and makes no sense. Automatically repairable units that don’t have any values. Its like the walking dead but they cant die unless its the only thing left in battle. Why did they call them Bunkers? Thats not what Bunkers are…
-
We just started to add a few bunkers. Instead of adding an Infantry we decided on a bunker so the piece can’t move like an infantry. It does defend. The 1 hit it takes saves you a unit.
Were still playing with these and rules. Could make it each bunker or walking dead absorbs 1 hit and boosts 1 inf +1 on defense.Just for Germany was if you don’t get through the Siegfried line late in game you have time to rebuild. Buy hey will just remove the piece from game based on an issue.

Hi General,
What is the status on your 1941 map?
Will there be any more changes (borders etc) - and do you expand the size of the tty/sz that easily become overcrowded (fx in Europe and the Eastern Front) and minimize those that do not see much combat (in Africa, tty east of Moscow etc.) (like we talked about earlier).
This season we’ll play Global 1943 for the most part. But now and then we have time for your 1941 game - so it would be nice to have the correct game bord…
-
I looked at expanding some territories but not looking good based on it would take time. I did fix the Normandy border.
Best way so far would be to take away a few territories to make other ones bigger but then it maybe to fast of movement becoming an issue for 1 or other side.
