    I am surprised at the early DOW in the Pacific. Doesn’t affect invasion of DEI, and frees up J and Italy! from defending for 1 more turn.

    Did build up the Chinese, but I’ve never really worried about them. Usually, the Japanese eventually out flank and out build them so it’s a late game non-issue.

    Curious that you didn’t take DNG to maximize your income.

    Actually I think it was a mistake, mixing it up with another game.

    Couldn’t take DNG, since ANZAC was at war already. Should’ve kept an inf ready in N Aus.

  • The two upsides of the UKDOW are the achieved NOs and that China will be able to build art one turn earlier. Don’t think it’s enough compensation for keeping US out of EU one more turn. Atleast there’s no hindrance in the Pac, can probably still stack at z54, and if J doesn’t DOW on US there’ll be some income boost there as well of +10-12 IPC.

  • I’ll assume the 2 figs will scramble. Then I’ll see if there’s an evident choice of evenual casualties.

    I usually never attack with the russian fleet, but at the same time it can sit in the Baltic Sea the whole game without making an impact. That’s why I go with a miniscule hail Mary here.

    China might not be able to build art at all after closer examination.

    Well, both of my German navy gambits failed.
    I forgot about the bomber as i had planned on taking Scotland…
    Debated buying a sub to help defend the Russians, but bet on odds. Should have looked at big picture of the effect of a loss on the German position…

    Ok. Of course my computer crashed upon trying to post. The good news is that I only had 2 battles involving units. Chahar(ugh forgot to cover that one…) and Kwangtung.
    Both battles I lost 1 inf.

    Going to replay the turn, but will edit the battles if they turn out differently.

    The edit was to take an art with trans to Sumatra, initially took just the inf as I thought I needed more reinforcement at Hunan.
