Where there any other ‘foreign language’ versions of Axis and Allies?

-
@thrasher1 Not to my knowledge, as far as I know there is ‘only’ the english 1st. and 2nd. edition, the dutch edition and the french/canadian edition of the classic version of A&A :)
Maybe @Midnight_Reaper knows more and can answer that question for you…
-
I think I can vaguely remember there was a rules translation in German.
But I am not sure. -
@thrasher1 Sure it was not a dutch version you remember? Either way, as long as the boxprinting was not in german I have no need for it in my collection :D but thanks for the info…
-
I am from Netherlands. And yes I can remember the Dutch translation being included in the box.
-
I have a separate ‘Rules Clarifications’ leaflet that was issued some time after the Milton Bradley version itself. It is signed “General M. Bradley, Supeme GameMaster”. I’m not sure how rare it is.
-
@kaleu Could you post a picture of it? :)
-
@aadudecphdk1981 Will do, but it may take me a day or so before I get around to scanning it.
A very impressive collection indeed!

Save you some time and download it directly via:
It’s the MB one (fourth link).

@kaleu No worries :)
Thanks for the compliment…

This was included in my Axis and Allies Classic game box.
As for as I know these rules clarifications were NOT included in the Dutch rules.BTW: Axis and Allies Europe (original one) also had such a document. You can see it here:
https://www.axisandallies.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Axis-Allies-Europe-1999-Update.pdf
I never saw this included in an Axis and Allies Europe (original version) game box. Did any of you?
-
@thrasher1 Thta one is new to me :) I did not see it in either mye 369 nor my 370 edition of AX&A Europe (1999 version)… :)
-
Again: I do not know if the ‘supplement’ to the Axis and Allies Europe (original) rules was ever included in print in the box of AAE.
If someone has this document in paper: a photo would be nice :)
EDIT: Just fixed a typo
-
I had scanned my copy of the ‘Rules Clarifications’ in the meantime. It’s available here.

Re-reading this old piece of paper, I have to say that advicing the (reportedly, many) Axis players to play aggressively as a response to the generally accepted observation that the game is hugely umbalanced against the Axis feels like grossly underestimating their player-base.
Beside this, this is a very nicely written and very helpful piece of paper and something which would be good to have in this site (namely in https://www.axisandallies.org/resources-downloads/, under “Axis & Allies 2nd Edition (1986)” (Wasn’t it 1984?)).

Hi AADude
Are you still looking for a Jedko?
I have an unpunched one or a punched one that I am willing to part with.
I’m in Australia.
Cheers
Chris -
@majordisaster I can’t speak for AADude, but I’m interested. I’ll send you a PM.
