That was interesting reading, never knew what happened to Mussolini. Most WW2 history I’ve read tends to ignore what happens in Italy after the Normandy landings, and the Italian campaign doesn’t get a lot of attention overall. Just ordered a good size book on the Sciliy campaign as I know little about it.

I often forget about Malaya and am always losing factories there in G40 and BM3. I believe it was the intention of the designers to have Malaya as somewhere the Allies could target to make it harder for Japan to get a VC victory.

Recent moves in the Pacific have been made partly out of desperation to try to reduce Japan’s IPCs as all the US IPCs have been going into the naval arms race in the Pacific. What I hadn’t realised is how much the Allies would gain in IPCs, I initially couldn’t believe the US income at the end of their turn! They really are the money islands… :moneybag: :moneybag: :moneybag:
The Pacific navies have quickly been built back up after the battle of the Java Sea, it’s 7 carriers each again already. I feel like there are some further sea battles that may be the key to this yet…
