Maybe if I hadn’t made some mistakes and lost some armies and navies to bad placement then things wold have moved along faster. Yes, it was one of the reasons I favoured a landing in Norway as you can escort bombers to both West Germany and Germany from there. The plan was to push on from there to at least Leningrad, but that may have been optimistic and losing 20+ units carelessly didn’t help. Not sure the Finish would be super happy about hosting the Russians either…
At least two factories can be placed up there, saving on transports (which I also have a habit of being a little too careless with).

@malmessi74 The economic warefare (subs and strategic bombers) approach I tried has had mixed results I feel, certainly stopped Italy from building much but not sure if the IPCs spent on bombers and figthers have been worth it overall but it was interesting to try. The subs have been very cost effective for the convey blockading as they haven’t needed protecting from the big air forces on the mainland.

@malmessi74 Damn, you did well to block up the route through Southern Russia that fast. Felt sure I would be able to breakout but never worked out what you could get there in time.
