Welcome to the ranks of posters, colonel.
Yes, Chinese units may move into (occupy) Kwangtung and Burma at any time, with no political consequences.

@krieghund two separate questions. both were answered. I am good. 1. the USA can’t get the Dutch Island bonus’ unless the island is liberated from the Japanese. 2. In AA 1940 Pacific, there is a 30 point immediate one time special bonus to USA for a Japanese unprovoked attack upon the Allies. Thanks, ,
@krieghund wow. thank you sir. I looked for this and was convinced it was a ghost. Is there any reason this isn’t on the resources-download page of this website? https://www.axisandallies.org/resources-downloads/
(its also not here: https://axisallies.com/rule-books/ although I understand they may not be affiliated)
@the_good_captain Those haven’t been updated indeed.
But in every subforum we reference the original source for the latest documents, that is
https://avalonhill.wizards.com/rules
(See for example one of the stickies in this subforum:
https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/18545/pacific-1940-2-rulebook-available-for-download)
They usually offer the latest rules documents.

I couldn’t say, as I am not involved in the management of this site. It does seem that this page needs some updating.

I was not aware of this site. It doesn’t seem to be up-to-date. I would be wary of such fan-made sites, as they are not always well-maintained.

Yes, Wizards/AH offer rulebooks and FAQ-sheets.
@panther Is it possible to get this uploaded to the resources page? Or how would I go about making that request?
I am a big proponent of errata and encourage players to always print one out for their game and throw it in the box as a matter of course. I am somewhat embarrassed to say I did not know this existed. I assumed folks were talking about the NO.
Thanks all for the help. Much respect.
Technically an update/addition of media should be no problem, it is just a matter of @djensen to find some time to do it.
In the meantime I recommend to use said Wizards/AH site (https://avalonhill.wizards.com/rules).
Also in almost every game-specific forum category we have linked to the current rulebooks/FAQ-sheets in stickied topics on top of every specific category.
However, what @Krieghund quoted above from the FAQ-sheet had been included into the current rulebook, just look at the top of page 9, current Pacific 1940.2 rulebook. As far as I remember almost every aspect of the FAQ-sheets (if not all?) had been included into the newer rulebook prints, available via the above link, too.
@panther …checking as I read this …and so it is. So there is an errata but its not necessary if you have the 2nd edition rulebook. A bit confusing but, again, thank you all very much. This has been …enlightening. Gonna have a smoke now.
Indeed. Actually you need the errata in case you own an older/outdated print of the second edition rulebook. But in that case you are fine with updating the rulebook itself.
