    I didn’t look at it closely. Also wouldn’t a sub have served the same purpose as the dd in the channel?

    Nope, since a sub can be ignored. It doesn’t make the sz hostile. The point was to block picking up troops for amphi.

    No rush. If it’s a big battle (seems you refer to Sea Lion), I’d prefer to be able to look at casualties. Atleast in the first or maybe even second battle round. Probably max d is the choice, but it’s not completely certain.

    I will be home for about one more hour and thereafter I won’t be very available. I might be able to look via my phone, but not for certain. Will play Terraforming Mars with some friends.

    Nope, since a sub can be ignored. It doesn’t make the sz hostile. The point was to block picking up troops for amphi.

    And negating any shore bombardment as well, of course.

    This way also the fleet has to either stay and fight or move away.

    Yeah, sorry about that, but it was simply too much of an impact on the position primarily during UK.

    The loss of 2 air in Scotland was a horrible affair for the Allies. Makes things very promising for the nazis.

  • SL is not so common, but it happens. I’m positive I’ve experienced it on both end with both players present.

    Germany/Italy has 7 VC’s, so if you manage to bring down London it’s practically game over. There’s a chance to take it back though with US, but it can easily fizzle.

    What I can see there’s 65-70 % on the defense, but perhaps I’ve missed something?

    Abstained to take Scotland with 1 frenchie just to maximize the defense of an eventual SL. Losing 1 fig, 1 tac was extremely bad.

    yes you did miss something… you missed my two planes in Rome… oh, never-mind it was actually I that missed them. And of course I also blundered with my troops on the French coast by not fully understanding the impact of the English Channel DD. So now my chances are down to 28%.
    Kind of a busy morning, I’ll see if your available a little later for the big battle

    But on the other hand, if you don’t win in Europe soon, it’s likely a lost cause for Axis.

    @trulpen thats a surprising statement. Is that the general consensus that if the Axis dont win big in Europe they end up losing the game? I was thinking that with the loss of Russia, the Axis was looking good
