    @oysteilo I am very kind on edits, partly because I know that it is hard to keep everything right in AAA compared to tabletop where you can go back and forth more easily and partly because it makes the game more fun to allow no-brainer edits. God knows I need them too. I will change before Japan.

    Some miscalculations in that battle there, but well. I should have not chosen planes in the attack on Philippines since I was going there with 10 units anyway. Would that too big of a change for your taste? I could then re-roll the Philly battle, everything else would be as is I guess.


  • i have no proplems with philippines. I am VERY unsure about your attack in sz 54 though. My understanding is that you can not attack a mixed sea sone (anzac and USA) with japan. You kill the anzac transport but I am not asked for anzac scramble. hmmmmm. you know?

    So what I did was only declare war on US, not ANZAC/UK. Up-side is that I could neglect your ANZAC figs in the attack, heavy downside is that I could not attack anything pertaining to them, such as gold islands, boats etc.

    Ok, much obliged. Will then roll Philly battle here once we are in consent of the attack.

    About Philly, I asked if I could modify the attack and not use the two planes, but instead only 10 land units, which went there in the NCM. Need that extra AC for landing spots.

    @oysteilo Japan has the option of only declaring war on the US, and in that case UK/Anzac are neutral powers, and don’t affect any of the Japanese moves and combat. So they’ll watch the battle in sz54 without doing anything and with no option to scramble. Of course, any UK/Anzac ships in the seazone will survive the battle, including the transport.

    @oysteilo Yes, for as long as the rules of Neutrality can be maintained it will always be possible to only attack either UK/ANZAC or US. But as you know once one side is attacked the other can join the war on their next turn. First rounds in the pacific can be tricky.

    Tell me when you have decided. I wouldn’t mind another game if it comes to that.
