Forgot G sub sink Italian tt. Edited it. Had considered leaving G Pacific fleet off Mex coast to be able to sink any USA fleet builds. The Royal navy’s upset victory over the German home fleet in round 1 was a game changer. It allowed the Canadian tt’s and troops to safely move to Eng Cha and with Brit troops retake Belgium early in the game and every turn. Paris alone can produce 11 units, including HG plus trenches, that’s enough to hold up the builds from the factories in Wurt and Bav. With UK putting 8 ground troops into Belgium every turn, G had to rely on gas built in Bav. Gas kills are costly, which is okay when bypassing trenches. But in Belgium I had negative TUV, even tho I won. And building gas reduced capacity to build ground troops. And USA will soon add fleet and ground assets to the western front.
G tried researching subs in G1, switched to land offense for gas or barrage in G2, then Economy in G3, since I didn’t want to risk getting cav. In G4, I tried for land defense, since G was stalled on the western and eastern fronts, and still possessed but was under threat in Mexico, Africa, New Guinea and Shanghai. G has lots of HG and some trenches that would benefit, or getting 3 ST per turn in Berlin would be helpful. So far G is 0-14 tech dice.

No matter how much money Austria earns or troops it builds, its never enough to crush Italy and Serbia simultaneously, while defending Galicia. Bat calc gives me no chance of taking Gre without lots more gas and infantry. So the gas goes towards Italy. Thinking long-term, I built art instead of inf for Galicia. The little extra cost buys much more offense. Don’t know why France still buys cav for India when it has slots available in Brit and Mars. France was safe, attacking Champ was unnecessary loss of HG, since G built HG for defense instead of art. But realistic, I listened to an audiobook on WWI and French generals kept attacking when they shouldn’t have. Benefitted Germany. Then French went defensive before and at beginning of WWII, when they should have been aggressive to deter G, when the G generals were still uncertain.
