Brits took Sistan in force to hold off Turks. Used 2 HG to offset weak defense of tanks. My defense would have favored me if Sis didn’t hit. But since I lost a unit, Turks have slight advantage. But Brits can counterattack.

@fmerwinrommel War Bonds. Needed that. man the weather here has been cold and wet for way to long.
Rus has the luxury of massing an army in Turk to block the Turks from reclaiming their ancestral homeland. Turks are now squeezed between sizable Rus and Brit armies.
We went from hot to rain and wind yesterday and 40’s overnight but sunny and pleasantly cool today when in the sun. Will be in the 60’s for the next week. I considered taking Khab while it was lightly defended, but you had lots of troops to retake it. Allies have had to help Rus against Com, luckily, with existing Fr and UK units. US can get to Siberia as quick or quicker than to Europe and Med. Com has 1/3 Rus’s income, which diverts Rus from Europe. But from the posts I’ve read, that’s made the game more balanced than the board game which doesn’t have Communists (?).

In case you were wondering, USA already has so many transports, troops and gas, and the CP fleets are contained, that I didn’t spend all my funds on more, but am saved the rest of my money for newly researched late fighters. Its amazing how by midgame, the USA is pumping out massive amounts of war material.

I’ve also learned a lot from playing 1914 more, from our games and with the team. I’ve been limiting myself mostly to just starting with land offense and defense. But I see where Economy has been beneficial for big powers buying lots of units cheaper; and small powers buying just a die at a time and getting lucky with cash every turn.
From your comments, I’m not sure you remember this was our second game. You were Axis in our first game.
