Realize I should’ve brought a des to that battle.
Already started to roll, but may I redo the battle-setup (keeping dice, rolling for the present dice a s o)? This was just too sloppy to put my air at risk. Since no defence has rolled yet, you may in that case of course change your mind about the scramble.
The idea is simply to exchange a fig for a des.
If so, I’ll roll 1d2 in order to see which dice would be the des. 1 for the miss, keeping the hit from the fig, and 2 for the hit, which then would be a miss.

Sorry for being silly here. Came home and rushed the move.
When having contemplated it during dinner and pause I came to realize it’s bad to use anything else than subs in z22 since there are no des that can reach for a counter-attack.
Actually started with allocating only 3 subs, but then changed it up because I thought the ac defended @2 and it felt a bit shaky.
I’ll revise to only 3 subs, so no scramble needed. Won’t roll for the 3rd sub, but consider it a miss, so only 1 hit on the ac and the air can be used elsewhere. The US-fig will fight in the big battle then.
I’ll roll the defensive roll for the ac here.
