I’d say a MIC in Romania is hard to justify, with G having plenty of production-capability already. Sure, two steps closer to the frontier, but you’ll have to build 30 inf there in order to just get square in regards to mechs. And it’s even worse, since you can’t even build units there the turn it’s built, so it’s actually 4 turns of production.
The key to that line of thought is that the mechs you could buy instead would make a bigger impact on the game than the slower units you’d buy closer to the front, simply because they would be in play earlier and also come with extra flexibility and dynamic. Generally speaking mechs are the golden unit for G. I say that without a doubt.
But its interesting how U dislike mechs with Japan ahahha

Yeah, U took some risks, first at Shan State, then this India sz battle, and the biggest of all this sz 37 potential one.
I was calculating and it was 70-80 TUV in Axis favor.
We shall see. I really need to play patiently my next Japan move.

yeah, the plan was with average dices ok, but the thing with this ˙averageness` is that its tricky.
U already moved ur USA navy before UK turn. If UK turn wasnt that good in Shan, U would have severely worse odds now in sz 37
i had a lot of not satisfied results while doing the Taranto thing with UK before on rd 1. I dislike that strategy cus its severely depends on the dice.

@amon-sul Indeed! Was quite nervous when doing UK hehe.
@amon-sul You mean in other previous games?
@amon-sul Yup, I thought the risk of severely crippling Japan was worth it. Got 3 bombers out of the way and considering the new cost of 14IPC, they are rarely replaced now I feel. Japan is down to 15 planes in total and have to decide on SZ37. Problem with non-100% battles is that it can in most cases be one or two hits in either direction that is the difference from being a 50-50% battle instead, so it is quite safe to call it a 50-50% battle when counting luck, if you follow my train of thought. It usually deters people from attacking in those situations and since I put myself in a nice position I gambled. Right or wrong, I don’t know :)
@amon-sul Will play Soviet now so you have plenty of time to plan Japan. I hope to be quite fast in response to a potential attack and OOL. Only certain thing I can say right now is damaging the ACs and BB.

@pejon_88 My defense dice are seriously lagging behind… I can on the top of my head tell you all defending tanks have missed, at least 3 of them that I can remember. Quite frustrating.
@pejon_88 I did a no-brainer miss with one UK inf in NCM. Was supposed to move to Mozambique and not Rhodesia. Will change during Soviets.
