@bolasgod So your Norway landing looked good at first but you have to look ahead to the counter attack to your landing. You don’t have sustained landings set up yet to trade the territory so when you land it has to stick! You have to be aware of the Italy coordination with Germany and the Luftwaffe. Try to keep the US and UK navies together if you can. They can support each other on defense and the UK can reinforce any landings with fighters and ground.
Russia is strong for a bit, but cannot stand against Germany alone. I like the idea of getting allied forces into Moscow. You were a little early and denied the Russian NO before you had to. That’s 5 IPC a turn. Every extra Inf for Russia is gold! I think it was too early to go sending your UK fast movers into China. They are all gonna be killed in a turn or two. They are much better served in Russia or defending the middle east. The India take back was probably ill advised. I get to take it back and reap the 5 IPC you earned. Plus I can probably hold it if I want to. The capital trade is a different story in BM3. I also could of taken your Middle east factory if I had opened up Persia with Italy. But it was a better position for me to stay at Bryansk.
Pacific is doing okay. You let me kill a bunch of your air at Guam. Try not to let that happen. Keep 1-2 transports coming to that navy. Transports are the only thing that make big navies worrisome. No transport no problem to defend against. If the US builds navy and air then ANZAC can support with transports.
All in all a much better game by you. I hope you are learning and having fun. And we will see where this game goes.
@majikforce I was under the impression that German boats could not pass the straights of Denmark because the Americans controlled Norway… I would not have invaded if I had known that…

So that rule is all about Denmark. Whoever controls Denmark controls the strait. But you have to control it at the beginning of your turn in order to pass through it. Hence that is why I had Italy take it back so Germany could sail through. The US usually takes it so the UK can threaten Berlin.
As for the air base built by Italy it gave my German bombers enough movement to attack either Norway or your navy and land in W Ger. I was able to do both since you left your US carrier without fighters. If you had landed your UK fighters on the carrier it would of been much worse odds for me. But I understand your confusion about the straits of Denmark. Norway was doomed either way. But now you know for future games!
@bolasgod Side note: taking Norway does block one of Germany’s National Objectives. But the strait is a separate thing.
