In section 8.2 it lists blockading as an example of combat movement. 8.11 sort of contradicts this.
I would say in order to enforce a blockade the units need to combat move, and thus couldn’t non combat.
The A&A 1940 Pacific game comes with the following ANZAC Naval Units:
4 Fleet Carriers
4 Battleships
4 Cruisers
6 Destroyers
6 Transports
6 Submarines
On HBG’s website, the naval units which are ANZAC Grey-Brown are:
Nevada Class Battleship
Casablanca Class Escort Carrier
King George V Battleship
Ark Royal Carrier
Coastal Submarine
Torpedo Boat Destroyer
The possible naval units which might be built by ANZAC are:
Heavy Carrier - A&A1940P Fleet Carrier
Fleet Carrier - Ark Royal
Light Carrier - Casablanca
Heavy Battleship - A&A1940P Battleship
Fast Battleship - King George V
Battleship - Nevada
Battlecruiser - ???
Heavy Cruiser - A&A1940P Cruiser
Light Cruiser -???
Destroyer - A&A1940P Destroyer
Advanced Submarine - ???
Submarine - A&A1940 Submarine
Coastal Submarine - HBG Coastal Submarine
Torpedo Boat Destroyer - HBG Torpedo Boat Destroyer
So my question is what sculptures do people use for battlecruisers, light cruisers, and advanced submarines for ANZAC? Do you use UK units as substitutes? Do you spray paint?
Hello,
I use the AA1940 units and painted a light cruiser because it’s needed at setup.
With its limited budget, ANZAC will not be building the expensive ships and does not even have a Major Shipyard at setup. Don’t go worry too much about these missing units.

I am an idiot! Thanks so much! It’s a tough situation with Global War that before you can even begin playing the game, you need to study the game and know the rules so that you can buy the right pieces so you can start to learn the game. LOL!
It doesn’t hurt to have one of each because they can also receive lend lease from the Americans. It just gives you that option.
I use British units for ANZAC and paint them.
